For similar payments in larger quantities, such as expense allowances for students or the reimbursement of semester fees, there is no need to fill out individual receipts. Many seminar rooms and lecture halls at the university's various locations are equipped with network-compatible presentation and media technology for digital teaching.

All control systems are configured for standard lecture operation after connecting notebooks. The systems in the Audimax, in the so-called "colorful lecture halls" AR and in the auditorium PB also allow differentiated multimedia operation or, if required, special events with personnel support from the ZIMT lecture hall service.

Some rooms also offer the option of holding video conferences.

Moodle is the University of Siegen's central digital learning management system for organizing and integrating online and classroom teaching.

In cooperation with the International Office, the Language Center hosts international movie nights several times each semester. These events give you the chance to watch exciting films from around the world while improving your foreign language skills in an entertaining way.

At the University of Siegen’s Language Center, students can take the onSET in German and English. The C-Test, which is used worldwide, enables a quick and accurate assessment of language proficiency. Colleges, universities, and language institutes use the onSET to place language learners, students, and scholarship recipients in language courses or to assess their progress.

The University of Siegen uses Openbank funds to support the mobility of students and doctoral candidates to Siegen and the participation of students in summer/winter schools/excursions.
