The Digital Media & Technologies minor is for you if you want to learn more about digital media, apps, social media, algorithms, smart homes and cities, big data, or artificial intelligence. The program focuses on questions such as how social media is transforming our societies and economies, how media are collecting more and more data about us, and how autonomous technologies are shaping our lives and work environments. The program combines theoretical and historical perspectives with current and independent research projects.

The minor in Digital Media and Technologies is the perfect complement to your major if you want to explore digital media through project-based learning. Through your own research projects, you’ll gain knowledge and skills that will open up career opportunities in fields such as data analysis, marketing, digital startups, or digital journalism.
The supplementary subject can only be selected in conjunction with a major in Study Models B and D of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities!
