University of Siegen reverses trend in first-year students
At the start of the 2025/26 winter semester, the number of first-year students will rise to more than 2,500 - an increase of more than 11 percent. The university expects around 14,000 students in total.

Apprenticeships: Origin beats performance

A clear course under new conditions: The University of Siegen adjusts its structural strategy, relinquishes the Karstadt property and resolutely presses ahead with further development.
Once again this year, a two-day excursion to Brussels will take place from June 2-3 as part of the "European Policy Workshop" led by Prof. Sebastian Kessing. The 40 students can expect an exciting program with lectures and discussions at the European Commission and the European Parliament. The highlight will be a meeting with MEP Alexandra Geese on June 3.
