Lecture by Privatdozentin Dr. Laura Hinze as part of the Forum Siegen in the summer semester 2026: "Medicine of the future"

Whether it’s an internship, temporary work or your first real job after graduation: there are many elements that make an application successful. In this training, Marcellus Menke, Head of Career Services at the University of Siegen, offers a compact introduction to the basics of job application knowledge.

Topics included are: Finding jobs, preparing application documents professionally, different forms of application, and successful communication with the prospective employer.

Learn how to collect and evaluate feedback in a targeted manner and use it to further develop your teaching - in a practical and interactive way.

In cooperation with the International Office, the Language Center offers international film evenings several times a semester. You can watch exciting films from all over the world and improve your foreign language skills in an entertaining way at the same time.

Each film evening is accompanied by a culinary and cultural offer that gives you the opportunity to try typical specialties of the respective country and learn more about the culture. The result is an all-round interactive experience that combines film, language and culture in a varied way.
