The manifold problems of our time do not allow science to be practiced only in an academic ivory tower.

Even if scientific research and enlightenment cannot conjure up patent remedies and concise instructions, they are able to shape many insights and decisions in all areas of society through methodical training, critical questions and conditional information.

Acting in difficult times increasingly requires reflection. The FORUM SIEGEN therefore discusses problems and examines methods that are important for "practice" in politics, business and culture. Representatives of all scientific disciplines will have their say - and listen.
