Continuing education and international affairs

LehramtPLUS is a continuing education program offered by the Center for Teacher Training and Educational Research (ZLB). It enables all student teachers to acquire additional career-related skills and promotes the personal and career-oriented development of students. Students can select courses from various content areas to develop their individual profile. If several courses are attended, a certificate can be issued for the additional achievements (see certificate information page).

Subject areas

The courses offered by LehramtPLUS aim to supplement and deepen the content of the teacher training course. The focus is particularly on the individual professionalization of students and their personal development with a view to their future career in schools. The following subject areas are offered as part of LehramtPLUS:

Media and education

General media skills, media education (media didactics, media education and media-related teaching and school development)

Event formats

The LehramtPLUS program consists mainly of lectures, workshops and excursions:

Lectures The "Fokus Lehrkräftebildung" is the lecture series of the Lernwerkstatt Lehrkräftebildung and enables a free exchange between students, teachers, university teachers and other experts. The participants deal with new or recurring issues that are currently being discussed or that continually affect the "school workplace". To the current dates of the "Focus on teacher training"
Workshops Every semester, LehramtPLUS offers a structured range of workshops and training courses that are specially tailored to the needs of student teachers. They enable the acquisition of professional skills and offer a supplement to the content of the teacher training course. To the workshop offer
Excursions Special schools or school projects are regular destinations for excursions organized by the Lernwerkstatt Lehrkräftebildung. Here you can get a first-hand impression of innovative teaching, well-known and award-winning project schools or alternative school types. To the excursions of the Lernwerkstatt Lehrkräftebildung The excursions of the OASE Lernwerkstatt (Schools II) can also be credited.
Other event formats Subject-specific one-day events (e.g. pedagogical symposia or conferences) or exchange and networking meetings (e.g. in the Ment4you project) also take place at irregular intervals as part of LehramtPLUS. Current dates are listed in the event overview listed.
