Arabic is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and opens doors to culture, society and international communication. Our courses take you systematically from the basics (A1) to intermediate level (B1): Writing, reading and modern standard Arabic for everyday life and a variety of conversational situations.

All users of Siegen University Library with a valid library card can use the article delivery service to order articles from printed journals available in the library.
The articles are scanned on site and sent free of charge as a PDF document by e-mail.

The procurement/purchase of all supplies and services (e.g. equipment, consulting, coaching, software, travel, coach trips) is subject to statutory regulations.

The certificate of attendance from the Language Center is proof of your language skills. If you complete a language course at the Language Center, you will receive a certificate of attendance with credit points if you pass and meet all course requirements. The main purpose of this is to enable you to use the credit points as part of your degree course.

At the Language Center of the University of Siegen, you can learn Chinese and get to know not only the language but also the cultural characteristics. The courses promote intercultural skills and offer you the opportunity to gain new perspectives on Chinese communication and culture.

Fee for guest lectures at the University of Siegen: External speakers can be engaged to supplement the teaching program and paid a fee (usually up to €500). Accommodation and travel expenses are also reimbursed under certain conditions. Payment is made after the guest lecture has been held and in compliance with the applicable guidelines of the NRW State Travel Expenses Act.

The legal department team provides you with samples and checks the GHVs/NDAs of your contractual partners.
