Das Department Psychologie stellt sich vor

Das Department Psychologie bietet eine grundständige Ausbildung in wissenschaftlicher Psychologie mit allen psychologischen Grundlagenfächern und den drei wichtigsten Anwendungsfächern, der Klinischen Psychologie und Psychotherapie, der Arbeits-, Organisations- und Wirtschaftspsychologie sowie der Pädagogischen Psychologie. Wir legen dabei besonderen Wert darauf, dass eine starke Forschungsorientierung mit einer ausgeprägten Anwendungsorientierung kombiniert wird – und das nicht erst im Masterstudium, welches im Wintersemester 2020/21 begonnen hat.

Außerdem erfüllt das Department Psychologie die Anforderungen des Qualitätssiegels für psychologische Bachelorstudiengänge an deutschen Hochschulen, das von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPS) verliehen wird. Zusätzlich richtet sich der Bachelorstudiengang nach den Vorgaben der neuen PsychThAppro und wurde 2020 entsprechend akkreditiert. Der Master Psychologie mit Schwerpunkt klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie startete mit dem Wintersemester 2023/24.

How can the economic benefit of personnel selection procedures be calculated? A new, freely accessible website enables interactive calculation based on the Brogden-Cronbach-Gleser formula. In addition to the basic BCG model, there are also extended variants and a Taylor and Russell misemployment rate available. The site was developed by Kai Horstmann (University of Siegen) and Matthias Ziegler (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) and is licensed under CC BY 4.0.
