As a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia University Didactics Network, the University of Siegen stands for quality-assured and compatible teaching development: Its higher education didactics courses can be credited towards the "Professional Teaching Competence for Higher Education" certificate program and are consistently based on established standards.

Individual support for your teaching: The ZFH team provides you with competent and practical advice - from the digital design of your courses, e-assessment and OER to questions about certificates, funding lines and current projects. Together, we develop solutions for your everyday teaching at the University of Siegen.

Developing teaching through dialog: TAP (Teaching Analysis Poll) is a qualitative interim evaluation that makes it possible to gain valuable feedback from the course during the semester. In this way, factors that promote or hinder learning become visible at an early stage and concrete improvements can be implemented directly - voluntarily, constructively and profitably for teachers and students.

Open, flexible, reusable: Open Educational Resources (OER) are freely accessible teaching and learning materials that are published under open licenses. Whether textbooks, videos, podcasts or entire Moodle courses - OER open up a wide range of possibilities for designing, adapting and jointly developing teaching.
