FAQ
Answers to your most pressing questions about studying
Anyone in possession of a Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (university entrance qualification) and who enrolls by the deadline published on the internet is guaranteed a spot in a bachelor's degree program. Enrollment itself is a mandatory process and is conducted exclusively via the unisono online portal.
It is possible to study at our university without an Allgemeine Hochschulreife (general university entrance qualification) such as the Abitur. Other possibilities include a Fachhochschulreife (entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences) or through certain proven professional qualifications. More information on these pathways can be found here.
The application process takes place fully online via our unisono portal. Once you have submitted your documents, you will receive notification as to whether you have been admitted. If so, you can enroll directly and start your studies. More information on this process is available here.
If you are interested in a specific degree program and would like to see whether it feels like a good fit, you are welcome to take part in a trial campus visit. Certain lecturers have agreed to open up their lectures and seminars to prospective students. A list of these courses can be found here.
Please note that these special courses are only available during the lecture period of a semester. Toward the end of the semester, examinations are often offered during the planned course times, and these are not appropriate for trial visits.
The dates of the lecture periods can be checked here.
